Money, Money, Money
This is an issue that surprisingly we have spent very little time on in the blog. Today's passage speaks of riches, money, and eternal perspective. There is nothing wrong with money, but when it becomes a focus and goal instead of a tool, there is a problem. Here are some Biblical passages and ideas having to do with money. Everything comes from God

Money cannot buy salvation

In Revelations 18 11-19, who does the "her" refer to?

In context the antecedent of "her" is Babylon. It's not referring to literal Babylon though. In Revelation "Babylon" is the word used to refer to the world and its values that have risen up to replace God. This passage speaks of the destruction of those things, showing that wealth, even great wealth, does not ultimately last.
